French Doors

Style and Elegance at the forefront.

French doors originated in the 17th century and today’s equivalents are used for very much the same reasons. Typified by door panels opening in or outwards within one door frame, they offer classic design & symmetry and lift the appearance, light and accessibility of any home. Modern-day double-glazed French doors have taken forward these traditions and provide a practical and beautiful addition to any façade.

French Door FAQ's

Genesis Flush French doors have excellent energy credentials and have the added benefit of woodgrain colour options and match perfectly with the flush sash window.

If energy performance and sleek modern looks are high on your wish list, then the Warmcore French door is the perfect choice. A modern powder coated finish with a double-glazed U value of just 1.4W/m²K or triple glazed as low as 1.0W/m²K make the Warmcore French door the perfect choice.

The aluminium French doors have the open to either open in or open out. The UPVC Flush French doors can only be opened outwards so if, for example, you have a Juliet balcony then Aluminium would be the best choice.

Yes. Whether you are going for UPVC or Aluminium French doors both have the option of dual colour.
Meaning you can have a different colour on the inside and outside of your doors so they blend or contrast with your colour scheme.

The main adjustment in French doors is available via screws located in the hinges. These help correct the position of the doors in relation to one another and ensure that each door is level with the other.
